Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. An agent for talent recognized her talents and convinced her to pursue a career as an actor or model. She dropped out of university after much thought to pursue a career in entertainment. After being disappointed by her appearance in the film, she decided to make her debut with Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To prove herself, she appeared in several low-budget movies to enhance her acting. This was no easy road for this actress however, her determination and patience was rewarded. In the movie Training Day she gained fame and got positive feedback. That was the moment her acting career took off. Her most famous films are 2 Fast and Furious and 2 Fast 2.
